A social assessment study was conducted to identify the impacts of the activities carried out in “İğneada, Köprülü Kanyon and Sultan Sazlığı” protected areas at household and community levels, to identify the impacts of Turkish Biological Diversity and Natural Resource Management Project on local life and income resources and to monitor community feedback about the protected areas. A total of 400 household questionnaires, 50 in-depth interviews and 12 focus group discussions were conducted within the scope of the study. |
